Question: "DOES BLOOD HAVE A VOICE?"
20+ years ago I read where Cain killed his brother Abel and then God said, (Genesis 4:10)
"And he said, What hast thou done? THE VOICE of thy brother's BLOOD CRIETH UNTO ME from the ground." I started asking myself this question, "Does blood have a voice? And if it does, WHAT DID THE BLOOD OF JESUS CRY OUT?" Then the Lord showed me this -"And to JESUS the mediator of the new covenant, and to the BLOOD of sprinkling, that SPEAKETH BETTER THINGS THAN THAT OF ABEL." (Hebrews 12:24 KJV) I received the answer to my question when I read it in the Amplified Bible- "And to JESUS, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled BLOOD WHICH SPEAKS [of MERCY], a better and nobler and MORE GRACIOUS MESSAGE THAN THE BLOOD OF ABEL [WHICH CRIED OUT FOR VENGEANCE]." [Gen. 4:10.] (Hebrews 12:24 AMP) I was shouting happy when I read that!!! Now ask yourselves this question: WHAT MESSAGE WOULD YOUR BLOOD SPEAK? If you are holding unforgiveness towards anyone else, let it go! CHOOSE TO FORGIVE AND HAVE MERCY for them the same way that God has mercy for you & I. It's time to "drop the stones" and release the peace of having a forgiving heart. God bless you today!
