We Possess Land
Phase 1 Complete
Our Desire
Our vision is to help people “Find Their Place, Fulfill Their Purpose, and Experience a Growing Relationship with God.” We came to Visalia and planted our first church in September of 2002. God told us our ministry would be established on the
message of love. we have never strayed from that command, it is the loudest message we preach. We started off in a little living room with only our immediate family and a few friends. over the years we have met in multiple locations throughout Visalia. Each building move was due to outgrowing the space we were in. As of today, we have been at the same location since 2006. Currently, we rent monthly with an annual lease. There is also a Charter School renting the space which limits us to one Sunday service and one midweek service. Exceptions are made during the summer when the school is out of session. However, we are limited to a certain amount of usage hours due to maintenance staffing and our lease.
Consequently, for the last fourteen years our offices, storage facilities, and bible studies have been off site. moreover, our partners who serve in our ministry have been faithful in setting up and breaking down each service and they do so happily.
WE HAVE SEEN MUCH GROWTH NOT ONLY IN ATTENDANCE, BUT IN THE PEOPLE WHO ATTEND. WE HAVE SEEN SALVATIONS IN OUR SERVICES BY PEOPLE WITH A VARIED BACKGROUND; GANG MEMBERS, DRUG DEALERS, DIFFERENT RELIGIONS ETC. WE’VE WITNESSED GOD’S HEALING POWER THROUGH MIRACLES REGARDING HEALTH, FINANCES, MARRIAGES, FAMILIES ETC. WE KNOW THAT GOD HAS MUCH MORE IN STORE FOR OUR MINISTRY.
I BELIEVE EACH ONE OF US HAS A SPECIFIC MANDATE BY GOD THAT WE ARE CALLED TO ACCOMPLISH WHILE ON THIS EARTH. AS A PASTOR, I HAVE A VISION IN MY HEART FOR WHAT GOD HAS ASKED MY MINISTRY TO FULFILL. AT THIS TIME MY HEART’S DESIRE IS TO FIND A PLACE THAT WEST COAST BELIEVER’S CENTER INT. CAN CALL HOME. A PLACE WHERE OUR MINISTRY CAN DROP ITS ROOTS AND MAXIMIZE OUR POTENTIAL.
PART OF OUR VISION IS TO OPEN UP A CHRISTIAN DAYCARE DURING THE WORK WEEK WHICH WOULD BENEFIT NOT ONLY OUR CONGREGANTS BUT THE FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY;
WE HAVE YET TO BE ABLE TO START THIS. OWNING OUR OWN BUILDING WOULD CAUSE THE DAYCARE CENTER TO BECOME A REALITY.
we are not limited in vision for our ministry or community, whether we rent or own A Building, the vision is still being accomplished. however, I hear it in my spirit God is calling us to take steps toward a place we can call our own. the time for renting is over, whether we buy or build, God is calling us to step out in faith and prepare ourselves for what he's bringing to us.
I look out at all we have accomplished as a ministry and it fills me with such joy and anticipation for the future. thank you for believing in us, and for believing in the vision of this house. together, this is going to be our best years yet!
Serving Our Community
Diversity within our campuses - We believe in order to reach our diverse community well, we must represent our community within our houses of worship. Not in a manner that opens the door to compromise but in a way that expresses the love of Christ. Salvations manifest when the doors of the church are welcoming to all and a message based off of the word of God is preached.
Networking with other churches - We love working together with other members of the Body of Christ. We often partner with local churches for various outreach ministries.
Discipleship – We provide outlets to help people grow and find restoration in Christ. Such as, Divorce Care Classes, Marriage Conferences, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adults Ministry, Men’s & Women’s Classes and Conferences. Street Ministry – Chariots of Light Biker Ministry, Bike & Automobile Shows, and Homeless Outreach. Community Partnership
